The theme of this years fair is LEARN TO GROW GROW TO LEARN. The Odessa Fair starts on Thursday evening at 5 pm with Loonie/Twoonie Night and ends on Sunday afternoon. Parade on Saturday 9:30 am . Battle of the Bands on Friday evening. Tweed Twangers as Saturday night entertainment, Demo derby and tractor pull and animal shows.

On Thursday, July 10, Ontario March of Dimes in partnership with Motion Specialties will be holding a wheelchair clinic.
The wheelchair clinic will be taking place between 10am and 4pm at Motion Specialties located at 616 Justus Drive, Kingston.  People can bring in their manual or power wheelchairs, electric scooters, walkers, canes and more for a free maintenance inspection.  
In addition the clinic, representatives from March of Dimes Assistive Devices Program (ADP) will be on-hand to provide funding consultations for the cost of repairs or the purchase of new devices.
ADP provides partial funding to more than 1,400 people a year for the purchase and maintenance of equipment such as, manual and motorized wheelchairs, lifting equipment, bath aids, seating inserts and wheelchair cushions, canes, crutches and walkers and more.

Ontario March of Dimes is the largest charitable rehabilitation organization in Ontario, providing a wide variety of programs and services to almost 37,000 people annually in 70 communities across the province.

What is an "Art a Thon"? It is very similar to a "Walk A Thon" only all individuals will be doing the art they love best for one hour. This includes dance, drama, visual art and music. Anyone interested in participating on August 16th from 10 am to 11 am can get a pledge sheet by calling Dreams In Motion at 613-382-6700 or emailing Jacey Donaldson at info@dreamsinmotion.ca. The event will take place in Sculpture Park beside the Chamber of Commerce building in Gananoque. There will be a grand prize of a Nintendo Wii. For every $50 you will receive a ticket for the prize. Proceeds raised will go towards Dreams In Motion programs.

KIX 93-5 is proud to help out Joe’s MILL with their Cash Calendar.  For $20 you can win 20 dollars a day from July through December 31st. There are special days with more cash to be won. The winning starts with a $200 draw on July 1st. Draws are held every Tuesday at JOE’s Mill.
Calendars are available at the Kingston Brewing Company, Lyon’s Winery and Brewery, Renewable Energy of Plumhollow and the Tourism info Center in Confederation Basin, Calendars are $20 each and you can win at least $20 a day with $200 bonus draw on Canada Day.
